There has previously been no clear consensus on whether eating organic food is worth the extra cost. Now a new study is reporting that people who eat organic food are less likely to get cancer. So should we only shop organic from now on?
Read this excellent analysis in The Guardian written by an epidemiologist on the latest epidemiological study fuelling the hype. Our favourite line in the article has to be: “It appears that, if you eat a balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and veg, it doesn’t matter whether you opt for organics or conventionally-farmed foods”.
